BeneFit is a very well known brand which is famous for its quirky packaging. All the products have a fun name or the general look of them is very different to products you would normally see from other brands.Today I am reviewing the Benefit Posietint for you all. :)

The packaging of this product is gorgeous! The bottle has a pink metallic look to it which I think is very pretty. It would look great in anyone’s make up collection.

The product itself is a liquid blush and the applicator is just like a nail polish brush. This is very unusual for a blusher as they usually come in cream or powder form in pots.

As you can probably tell, this product is quite thin and runny in texture. The color is a pretty soft pink, kind of a bubblegum pink.

On blending it, I found that it is was very easy to blend and doesn’t leave any patches. I had initially thought that the hue would be too light but found that it wasn’t so. I also like the fact that the blush can be layered. When more is applied on top, the color appears a lot more vibrant. I think this is definitely a good quality for a product to have because it means that the product will be suitable for a variety of skin tones. It lasts all day which is something I find is more common for me with liquid and cream blushes. You can also set it with a similar hue of powder blush which would most likely make it last a lot longer.

As we are coming in to the winter now, I feel this would be an appropriate blush to wear as it is a pink. Usually these shades tend to flatter more when the weather is colder. Having said that, I don’t think this blush would look bad in summer time either! It looks subtle and would look great with a simple or a more done up eye look as it wouldn’t look too much either way.

Pros of Benefit Posietint Lip & Cheek Stain

Attractive packaging
Easy to use applicator
Pretty shade to suite most skin tones
Easy to blend
Easily layered
Great shade for the coming season

Cons of Benefit Posietint Lip & Cheek Stain

-Could be pricey
-Might not show up on very dark skin tones

Overall, I am impressed with this blush. I would recommend it more for the lighter skin tones because it would probably show up a little more. It is also the kind of shade that would look better on someone with fair skin.

The retail price for this blush is around $29/£24.50. I do think it is quite pricey but the product will last a long time as you don’t really need too much to get some colour payoff.
