To apply: For a polished, professional look, apply on clean lids with the Cream Shadow Brush. Using short, sweeping brush strokes layer color on lids for desired effect. For a more sheer effect, use fingertips to blend.

My Thoughts On The Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sandy Gold :
My experience with the Bobbi Brown Metallic Long Wear Shadow was pretty pleasant, read about my experience HERE. Now it was inevitable for me to try their other range from the same category the long wear cream shadows. So Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sandy Gold was my first swatch at the store and I couldn’t take my eyes off it!! I mean I have never come across such a gorgeous golden every in my life!! There I said it!!
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sandy Gold is a gorgeous gold with a beige base, or a pale gold to be appropriate. It has this refined shimmery which adds light to the color.
I love using it alone without any top up color. Nevertheless it beautifies the intensity and pigmentation of every and any product topped over it.
It performs beautifully as an eye shadow as well as a base for eyeshadows.

How Do I Apply It :
I use a flat brush to apply it when I want intensity out of the product, when I want a sheer cover of color I simply use my finger to pat it onto the lids.
The texture of the shadow is soft and smooth and it applies really well. Blending it is never an issue.
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sandy Gold evens out the lid thus providing a awesome canvas to work on.
The staying power of the product is amazing, like it stays on without creasing or smudging for about 8 hours on my lids.
If you have extremely oily lids, I would suggest you to prime your lids before applying it.
I use my oil base makeup remover to get rid of it. It is water resistant.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sandy Gold is my current favorite gold, and base. I love the way it makes my eyes look, it is a beautiful inner corner color. I am totally recommending these to all of you who are looking for a good eyeshadow base. At least one shade from this range is worth a shot!!
