I felt like the past 2 years I was living on the internet and how! Anyhow I am back and back for good! Today I am reviewing one of the newest launches by Bobbi Brown, this was launched a couple of months before here in the UAE. It is the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation.

My Thoughts On The Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation :
Having used almost all foundations for combination skin types, I had to give a try to this one since it was a long wear one and also had a matte finish to it. When I tried it on my wrist at the Bobbi Brown counter in Deira City Centre I was a bit reluctant about picking it and then when I tried on my skin I gave in, read below to find out why.

The packaging of the product is very “Bobbi Brown”, cliché, user friendly and non messy. The pump makes it super easy to use the product and avoids messing and wastage of the product.

The formula of the product is water based and it has to be since it is meant for normal to oily skin types. Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation isn’t too paste-y or liquid-y it is just about the right consistency. But definitely gel-y.

It is the first foundation by Bobbi Brown which has a little fragrance to it, a very mild one but it is very much there. Sensitive noses can bear with it.

The blend-ability of the product is pretty decent, and I prefer a brush over a sponge and fingers for applying it.

The shade I picked “5 Honey” turned out to be a tone darker to my skin tone. But then I am amalgamating it with my brighter foundations so it works just fine with my skin tone.

The product has a semi-matte finish, and a lot of the finish depends on your skintype too. Like for me on my cheeks it is full matte and on my T zone it is semi matte.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation has a full coverage, I mean trust me you can easily skip off the concealer with it. It has a good enough coverage to hide up all blemishes and acne marks if any on your skin. Even though with a full coverage it has a pretty natural which simply blends and melts into the skin.

The product stays on practically for the whole day without transferring onto tissues and phone screens which is decent.

Also I have seen a transition in the hours it lasts in, I mean starting of November and ending of November saw a great shift in the climatic conditions. And definitely it has stood the test of time and longetivity for me.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation hasn’t caused me any type of irritation or break outs till date.

It is extremely light on the skin, and also cover up the pores without clogging them. Also it never causes dry patches on the skin and keeps it hydrated. To top this it has vitamin C and E, and also has SPF 15.
