Hello Ladies,
Hope you all are having a relaxed Friday! I am waiting for my dad to come, so that I could hit the beach :P , I am not getting into the waters though, but I just enjoy being in the vicinity of the beach, kind of soothing. Today I am reviewing the Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 in No 11 Rose Blossom for you all.

Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 lipsticks retail for 130 AED, I bought mine from Paris Gallery, Burjuman Center.
Shades :
Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 lippies come in 17 gorgeous shades. I believe there are some new shades which were released along with the Gold Rose Collection too.
Packaging :
Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 lippies, come in the very mandatory square-ish tube, but this one is a navy blue one, with a black metallic band around, unlike the regular lip color packaging, you can see it HERE.
My Thoughts On The Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 in No 11 Rose Blossom :
I have a distinct pick for pink lippies, I do not pick those mauvy pink shades, they somehow do not excite me, I am more of the orange and deep red person. And as far as pinks are bothered, I am more of the bright, hot pink, or milky pink topped with a gloss kind of person. But there are exceptions, like this one. At the counter, Mom pointed out to this shade, she is a major maroon phased woman, at the most she would go for a nice matte red lipsticks, otherwise you would find her sporting some or the other hues of maroons or browns or even purples. I went ahead and checked it, it seemed like a boring mauvy shade to me, but when I tried it, I was surprised to see, a beautiful bright pink shade glide on my lips. So instantly I picked it up!
The color Rose Blossom, is a nice pink shade, the kinds which you would like to wear with a black smokey eye, or something too bold just to balance it out. Or It could be also a shade, which you simply want to flaunt, something bright and girly apt for a summer day. It could be worn as a tint to office, or simply glide it on for a party. Curious? This particular shade, would look the best on fair to medium skin tones, whereas on the duskier skin tones, it would look a little overwhelming, but worry not; this range has colors for everyone.
The formula of the lippie, is creamy without being all that creamy. I mean creamy textures tend to weigh down the lips, melt and blots and even fade away easily. But this is extremely light on the lips. It doesn’t tend to get sticky over the lips neither does it bleed or blot. You can call it a disciplined creamy lipstick.
Inspite of being creamy, these have a semi matte finish, and not those regular shiny creamy finishes, which ain’t really my preference. I like matte and you guys know it! :P Being a creamy lipcolor, this one won’t settle into the fine lines of the lips either.

Not just this, it is superbly hydrating and gorgeously moisturizing as well. Your lips won’t dry up with this over them.
This range by Bobbi Brown specializes with SPF 15 for the lips, which means that extra added protection from the crazy sun during summers, which is a whammy!! The Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 in No 11 Rose Blossom is taste and scent free. I know a lot of people prefer their lip products to be so, so here you go, beg, borrow, steal , and get this. :P
The pigmentation, as the swatches show, the pigmentation of this lipstick is OPAQUE and THICK. You just need one swipe of the lippie to cover up even the pigmented lips. This lipstick is gorgeously pigmented and has a great color pay off.
The staying power needless to say is good enough to survive through for atleast 4-5 hours with all the coffee, water, snacks and meals. It would give you a pretty gorgeous wear for long hours without touch ups.

I am so picking up the GUAVA shade from this range. I am totally recommending this range to everyone reading this. The Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 15 in No 11 Rose Blossom is definitely a delightful pink for the pink lipstick hoarders, I am very sure you guys would love this shade! With all these “feel-good-factors” mentioned above I am not at all surprised with the recommendations and awards this product has received!

will it suit tan complexion because im kinda light tanned not dusky. I so love pink shades but don’t know weather it will suit me .
hi naazo…it depends on what shade of pink you pick! :) It shall suit since you must have seen Rihanna wearing a bright bright hot pink too and a mauvy pink too with the same ease. :) I mean to say you need to pick the perfect shade for yourself! :)
