I thought Bobbi Brown needs another chance with her foundations :P and I bought their much talked about foundation, the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 . So here are my views on the product exclusively for you all.

Firstly Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is a water based foundation. It suits dry, normal and combination skin type, I am combination skinned, hence this choice. With these torrid summers, I told you guys before how I am constantly switching my foundations and trying out everything which I can to stay over the skin for at least a decent number of hours, read on to find out if this one is worth all the hype and rave.

I was matched to the shade, Warm Natural 4.5 , which is my exact match, I wear the same shade with Bobbi Brown Oil Free Even Finish Compact Foundation. This shade has more of the pink undertones, and a slight mix of yellow tones, which suit my summer TANNED complexion .

Being a water based base, Bobbi Brown Oil Free Even Finish Compact Foundation has a highly liquidy form. It isn’t thick or creamy, it is runny and semi creamy (if this makes sense).

I tried applying it in different ways, with a normal foundation brush, with a stippling brush, with fingers and lastly my flat top foundation/concealer brush, and no points for guessing it worked the best with my foundation brush and the flat top foundation/concealer brush. These brushes give the most flawless finish to the product and make the skin look naturally beautiful and flawless.

I just set it with a loose powder or a translucent one, for a better longevity.
It has a matte finish which is apt for combination skin type and these scorching summers. It blends beautifully into the skin without any extra efforts.

It has some gorgeous skin radiance properties, thus giving the skin a lovely natural glow.
It needs to be blended quickly, since it kind of dries up on the skin pretty instantly. So need to have some quick reflexes.

It evens out the skintone, without being fake also works over the pores, without clogging them. Neither did it cause breakouts or irritation.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 gives you a sheer to medium coverage, which is of course buildable. It is extremely light over the skin though, and you would love how it would feel especially in the summers.

To top it all, it has sun protection, although SPF 15 isn’t a lot for the summers here, but I kind of feel a little more protected with it, just an added protection.

Now comes the best part about the product, the staying power. This is one foundation after a lot of them, which has stayed like for 5-6 hours on my skin without fading. This one controls the oil at my T zone, and also keeps from creasing or smudging. It does transfer a bit on the tissue and the phone screen, but I can kind off live with it. Also with this I do not need a concealer for my little tiny acne marks and other jazz which needs extra coverage.

I am quite happy with how the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 I performing even in these summers. I am so happy that my money isn’t wasted, and it totally keeps up to all its claims.
