Boots Essential Cucumber Cleansing Wipes Review
Hello beauties! How’s your week progressing?? Mine is pretty slow. How far is Friday?? Cant wait to put my dress and makeup on and go partying. Or shopping. Speaking of shopping I picked the Boots Essential Cucumber Cleansing Wipes up from Boots the other day. My Nivea removal wipes were over and I wanted to try something new.
I love cucumber. My mom says when I was little I would eat nothing but cucumbers. Which is why I had to pick this up the instant I saw it. And I’m glad I did.
Claims:
Boots Essentials Cucumber Cleansing Wipes contain extract of cucumber to help gently soften and soothe. Enriched with soothing cucumber Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, they work to remove make-up and excess oils, leaving skin clean, soft and smooth.
They are suitable for all skin types

My thoughts on the Wipes:
Let me tell you all something about myself. I have an oily nose. Yes. NOSE. It has had a solid love affair with blackheads since I was 16. No kidding. No matter what I do to break the relationship up its still going strong. It can be a problem sometimes when I’m choosing facial products. The Nivea removal wipes didn’t quite impress me. They were okay but nothing world changing. I thought this is what I would get from all. But then these wipes came into my life and my world changed. Last night I came back after a dance party. Needless to say I had waterproof and smudge-proof makeup on. To top it off I was sweating. ALERT OILY NOSE. I took one of these from the pack and swept it over my T-zone. Then I did the rest of my face. Next I washed my face off with water. Then I looked into a mirror. Not only was ALL my makeup wiped/washed off but my nose wasn’t shiny. You know what that means right?? The wipe wiped off the oil!! I was so amazed I kept touching my nose. I mean I know that’s what it claims but I didn’t expect it to work so well! Nothing had before this. And the smell. It’s the next best thing to eating cucumbers. The wipes smell mildly of cucumbers. When you first open the pack the scent hits you but then it tapers off.
Another thing I’ve noticed. After I close the pack it stays that way. Closed. I mean I don’t have much to compare it too expect my last wipes. And that did not close. Which resulted in all my wipes drying off. However this glue must be pretty good or something because I don’t have the same problem here.
What’s to LOVE about the Wipes:
- Lives up to its claims.
- The smell is amazing.
- Efficient in removing waterproof and smudge-proof makeup.
- My nose isn’t shiny after using this.
- Excellent packaging.
- My skin doesn’t feel dry after using this.
What’s NOT to love about the Wipes:
- The smell may irritate some people. Cucumber not-loving people.
There isn’t anything not to like for me. They are makeup removal wipes and they do that job pretty well. And yes world changing. Oh and Boots has a whole cucumber range. I’m going to go get that now.
