Spring/Summer and nude lips go arm in arm. I just love the ‘no make-up’ look and am always in search of techniques and products that help me achieve it. But not everyone understands it. A friend asked me “Why apply makeup in the first place? Walk around with your bare face and there you go. The no-makeup look is done!”No prizes for guessing that this friend happens to be a guy. Men! Let us not even get to that topic. Will they ever understand??Leaving that for you to ponder .Meanwhile here’s my new found love-Clinique High Impact Lip Color #02 Nude Beach.

High on colour, long on comfort. Dressed-up colour wears beautifully for 8 hours. And lips enjoy every minute. In highly moisturizing shades that continually smooth, soften, comfort. Protects from UVA/UVB, too.

Frankly, I DO NOT like the metallic casing. Looks like it belongs more to a tool box next to a Swiss knife than a perfume bottle in a vanity case!

It has a reflective surface on one end.Easy peasy application on the go.

I think this is the shade of lipstick I will be buying over and over again. Simply because never has a lipstick make my lips look so good. Its deeply moisturizing and the pigmentation is great. I don’t need a lip balm for this one. The SPF 15 content makes it my go to lipstick this summer. Be it a party,a casual outing or daily shopping, I seem to reach for it every single day. The only problem is that I have to reapply after meals. Sad but true, it cannot survive a meal.

Costs around 110 AED. I must say its well worth the price since you can carry it around in your bag and reapply.
