Hope you guys are having a peaceful and lovely Ramadan!! Mine is pretty slow but good!! Today I am reviewing the Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara for you all.

Product Claims :
The new prodigious mascara with volume enhancer action, lash by lash. An exclusive nano-brush captures and coats every single lash, even the tiniest ones.

A Lash Multiplier TM serum treatment formula thickens, separates and extends the lashes for an infinitely multiple lash effect.

Day by day, a repaired and strengthened appearance is achieved for a fuller lash look.

Price :
I am assuming it retails at about 120-150 AED

Packaging :

Although this one is a sample size, the regular or full size one looks just the same as this one. It comes in this very “DIOR” packaging. The application wand has these large, medium and small sized bristles so each hair of your lash band gets the product applied.

My Thoughts On The Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara :
I got these with my Bobbi Brown purchases at Paris Gallery. This is a sample size version of the original one.

Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara claims to lengthen and volumize the lashes. Read on to find on if it does so.
Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara is a wet formulized mascara. The shade 090 Noir is a thick jet black one, undoubtedly one of the blackest mascaras I have ever used.

The wand of the Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara is super efficient, it is called nano wand which ensures that even the tiniest hair on the lash band get an even coat of the product where as it reaches to enhance the longest lash hair beautifully.

Check it on my eyes.

Being a wet mascara, it dries up instantly within seconds without messing up. The mascara isn’t thick or thin and is consistent when applied. It doesn’t really clump with the first coat, but building it up is a little problem. It may clump at your third coat.

Undoubtedly my lashes look thick, and black and glossy with it!! Isn’t it?

It holds up the curl of the lashes gorgeously, whole day long!! I mean whole day long.

When you build up coats of the mascara, it does tend to make the lashes a little brittle and I personally feel that is a little uncomfortable.

More than volumizing it lengthens my lashes. On the first coat, it does separate even the minutest of the lashes, but the trouble comes when you go on with the second coat.

The second coat tends to stick in the lashes together, making my lashes look like spider lashes, in some cases these lashes look fine but usually they may look a little shabby. Hence I stick to applying it only to my upper lashes and not the lower ones.

Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara is a waterproof mascara, and only my oil based eye makeup remover can get it off.
This doesn’t budge or smear for the WHOLE DAY ( read : 16 hours , tried and tested) I have felt it getting a little soft with the heat though.
It didn’t irritate my eyes in anyways even with contact lenses.

• If you do not like spidery lashes, this one isn’t for you I guess

Final Verdict :
I wouldn’t put it into the BAD MASCARAS category. I love the formula and the pigmentation. I naturally have long and good lashes, thanks to olive oil, so I didn’t really test it for its ability to make my lashes thick or healthy.

If you have those short and soft lashes, this is actually your DREAM MASCARA, but otherwise you can skip this one.

I am in double minds with purchasing it in the full size version, but somehow, the jet black pigmentation of the product makes me a little weak in the knees. :P
