How To Make Foundation Last All Day

I need not really explain how worst the SUMMERS here are getting. And with the temperatures rising higher and higher with each passing day, I am sure everyone is facing problems with caking up makeup and melting makeup, so let’s mend things one by one, today I am giving out some instant tips on how to make foundation last all day during this blazing and burning summer.

If you really want your makeup to last all day, it is very important for you to get your base right, and getting the foundation right and making it last long is the biggest concern and you SHOULD solve it FIRST.

Firstly, you need to know your skin type and choose the foundation accordingly. Read a detailed article on this HERE. After this make sure you clean your skin properly before applying makeup.

Use a tool for applying foundation. A damp sponge or a brush is mandatory for making base makeup last long. I love my Inglot Foundation Brush for application, check it HERE. Never overdo the quantity, this leads to caking of the product. For summers the little the quantity the better it is.

Exfoliating and moisturizing the skin is very very important.

Choose oil free makeup or mineral foundation.

Other than this, rub ice cubes on your face before applying foundation or the SA at MAC, Mercato Mall told me to refrigerate my foundation for avoiding oxidization of base makeup.
