Hello lovelies! I hope everything is going good your end. Its been pretty busy my side. Life of a student. Anyways I was home in between and brought a lip balm ( among many other tings :P) for my lips. Since I already had the MAC lip conditioner I didn’t want anything that came in a pot. I bought the Korres lip butter stick in peach.

Something about the brand ( as it is on the official website ) :
Korres, set up in 1996, is a Greek skincare brand with roots in Athens’ first ever Homeopathic Pharmacy. Based on its pharmacy experience in over 3,000 homeopathic remedies of herbal origin, Korres is focusing on primary and applied research regarding natural ingredients and formulae. The company today offers a natural and certified organic skin & hair care range, a make-up line as well as suncare products and herbal preparations.

I tried on the lip butters in the store and they were heaven!! So soft they instantly melted on my lips. I thought why not give the mandarin sticks a try as well.

About the product ( as it is on the official website ):
Lip butter that instantly hydrates and softens the lips. Shea butter and Sunflower wax deeply nourish and offer long-lasting care, while Mandarin oil conditions dry lips. Ideal for chapped lips.

Packaging:
It comes in a standard twist-up tube with a sturdy cap.

Where to buy it :
Lassies living in Dubai go to the Dubai Mall. They have a store in there somewhere. :D

Price:
Around 40 AED

My thoughts:
They aren’t as magical as theit ‘potted’ cousins but they work in a pinch. They give a slight hint of colour to my lips as well as moisturize them.They are available in various flavours and I have it in peach. Ffor women who have very dry and chapped lips this isn’t for you. To be honest I was a little disappointed as I expected these to be as effective as the lip butters they have.

What’s to LOVE about Korres Lip Butter Stick in Peach:

- The packaging. Its so cute!!
- The colour. Perfect for days when you don’t want to bother with makeup
- SPF 15. Be safe from those rays people!!
- Perfect for day-time moisturizing. Apply it every 2-3 hours.
- Price. Comparatively cheaper ( then MAC or Chanel)
- Don’t have to worry about hygiene. Or about the product smearing everywhere. Packaging is quite sturdy.

Whats NOT to love about Korres Lip Butter Stick in Peach:

- Not very helpful on extremely dry days. Kind of fails its purpose then.
- For some people the smell could be a little irritating.

Swatch:

As you can see it gives a slight wash of colour. Peach is well peach-y and the above swatch is just one swipe. In natural sunlight.

Final verdict:
I wouldn’t recommend it for the extreme winter months. However use this on a daily basis. Its perfect for that.

Will I repurchase :
No. Nut the lip butters are another story ( yes I am obsessed) . Looking forward to trying out more from the brand.

P.S : I still get dreams about the lip butters I tried in the store. However Im back in india and someone please tell me where to get korres products here. The official store doesn’t ship to india 

P.P.S : While leaving the store the SA gave me a brief introduction on the company and also a few samples. Will review them soon.
