Hair Care : L’Oreal Paris Elvive Smooth Intense Anti – Frizz Serum
I straighten my locks with flat iron quite frequently and that results in shine less, dull hair. So along with the heat protectant I tend to apply some serum to my tresses because it gives some shine and also reduces frizziness.L’oreal Elvive Smooth Intense Anti Frizz Serum is the serum that I am using currently and I would like to review it for you today.
Product Claim (as per the site):
L’Oreal Paris ELVIVE Smooth-Intense Anti-Frizz Serum (50ml) smoothes fly-aways and makes hair more manageable. Nourished, calmed, smoothed and perfectly separated by the action of the Nutrileum®, hair regains a soft, sleek and supple texture with lasting protection against frizz. ELVIVE Smooth-Intense with Nutrileum® combines nutritive micro-oils with a smoothing ingredient to nourish, detangle and calm your tresses. Designed to soften and smooth the hair fibre, Nutrileum® neutralizes frizz, restoring manageability throughout the day. The long lasting anti-frizz action ensures manageable hair throughout the day. For frizzy or unmanageable locks, L’Oreal Paris laboratories have created L’Oreal Paris ELVIVE Smooth-Intense Extra-Riche with Nutrileum® and Argan Oil for double-smoothing, anti-frizz action. The hair fibre is softened, becomes easier to manage and has long-lasting protection from humidity.
Packaging: Comes in a golden-yellow pump bottle with a brown pump. There is a tiny arrow in the pump which shows the direction which lock and opens it. Pretty, neat and travel friendly packaging.
The pump dispenses right amount of product preventing wastage.
Ingredients: Not mentioned in the site or bottle. I am not sure whether it was mentioned in the outer carton since I bought it a long time back.
Price: I bought this quite a while back and I don’t exactly remember the price. I am sure it is prized below 35AED.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Alive Smooth Intense Anti- Frizz Serum:
Who doesn’t crave for smooth, shiny, silky tresses? I do and I know most of you do. So in an attempt to achieve beautiful hair I used this product, and I am satisfied but not blown away with the results it gave. I apply it on damp tresses then blow dry my hair before straightening with a flat iron. It smells quite nice and makes your locks smooth especially in the ends. The end result after flat ironing is not as I prefer it to be (I want super smooth hair that catches the light).But it does not disappoint me either. I just need one or two pumps for my medium length locks. I pump it onto my pals, rub my palms together then apply it on my tresses. Easy to apply and spreads quickly. My tresses are definitely more manageable after using this serum. Some times when I am in a hurry I apply it on dry hair too. One thing I detest about this is that it causes buildup in your tresses and I need to wash my hair every time I use it. I usually straighten my hair and then leave it unwashed for 2-3 days to prevent maximum damage and that is simply not possible when I use this product.
