I don’t have any idea as to why I bought the Lush Double Choc Lip Tint.I was window shopping and when I entered the lush store, simply picked it up.I loathe this thing.Read on to know why.

Here’s what the site has to say about it-
Extra virgin coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, hazelnut oil and brazil nut oil mean Double Choc adds lashings of moisture to your lips and leaves them smooth and protected. Japan wax holds a holds a light blend of nude brown pigment to the lips.

Here’s the list of ingredients-

Packaging is the basic tin packaging which Lush has for lip balms with a screw lid.Texture is a tad bit grainy with a slight waxy feeling to it.Smells like dark chocolate.It is priced at 60 AED.

Now about my experience ,
Why do we use cosmetics?No seriously,why?To enhance our appearance right?To look good,to feel great about ourselves.What happened to me on the very first day I used this tint was exactly the opposite.Here’s the sob story- I was happily walking with ‘him’ to my favorite fast food joint, whispering sweet nothings to each other. Suddenly he stopped dead in tracks,pointed at my lips and asked,’What happened to your lips?it looks frost bitten almost like that of a dead body!’Can you imagine a more unromantic end to such a romantic evening?Sigh!I rushed to the nearest washroom and when I caught a glimpse of myself,horrors of horrors!I did look like a corpse.It took less than a nano second for me to wipe it off and apply my fav lipstick which I thankfully,had in my clutch.And that lipstick did save the evening.We really had a blast.But me no forgive lush lip tint!Whats the point in using a product loaded with natural stuff and claims to protect and moisturize your lips but you look bad.Bah!
