Hope you all are doing fantastic!! Today I am reviewing a LUSHie for you all. This one is quite a hit amongst everyone I guess, irrespective of their skin type. I mean I haven’t come across a single NEGATIVE review about this one till date. So I went ahead and tried the Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub. So read on to know how I rate this LUSHie!!

Product Claims :
Back in 2005, our inventors had come up with a number of fantastic cleansers but there was one category they had yet to conquer: The scrub! A sea salt scrub! With that, they whipped up (our now enormously popular) Ocean Salt. Washing with Ocean Salt is like taking your face on a trip to the seaside for an invigorating splash in the water. We mix in fresh avocado and coconut to hydrate thirsty skin, while the antibacterial effects of lime and vodka is ideal for blocked pores, blackheads or blemishes. The minerals in sea salt soften as it scrubs away dirt and blockages.

• Suitable for all skin types: Ocean Salt is most beneficial for combination to oily skin.
• Our most exfoliating cleanser: Ocean Salt contains a combination of coarse and fine sea salt.
• For an invigorating scrub: Salt and citrus oils can cause irritation for sensitive skin types. If you’re quite sensitive, we suggest using a gentler product.

How to use :

Splash water on your face and apply about a teaspoonful of scrub using an upward, circular motion to exfoliate and refresh the skin. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat dry. Ocean Salt can also be used on other parts of the body including chest, back, arms and legs.

My Thoughts On The Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub :

I am sure that whenever an oily or combination skinned lady must have visited LUSH, you wouldn’t have had walked out without this glorious product. This is like the first recommendation at every LUSH store for skin care I guess.

Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub is basically a cleaner/scrub for all skin types, but particularly works best for the oilies and combination skinned ladies.

It has an invigorating and refreshing Lemon and citrusy scent, quiet a jolt of freshness stored in a tub, SERIOUSLY.

The packaging is very comfortable for using such a gritty and rough product, a tube would have given you a tough time squeezing it out.

The ingredient list looks amazing, with lemons, avocados, coconuts and sea salt, and to top it all a twist of vodka too. So these are basically those contents which would make the lives of the oily and combination skinned ladies simpler and better.

The texture of the cleanser/scrub is gritty and rough and it has this milky cool blue color, I was a little reluctant when using it for the first time, but as soon as I rub it over my skin and gave it a touch of wet hand, the not-so-uniformly sized salt granules melt giving your skin a mild exfoliation. THIS TASTES SALTY!!
This doesn’t lather it just rubs against the skin and dries up if left on for sometime, and washes away easily.
It is my daily cleanser when I get home from a sunny day, I feel it helps me combat tan in its little granular ways :P

It leaves my skin soft and supple, inspite of the alcohol and citrus contents it has, I didn’t feel it stretched my skin or made it look flaky or irritated.

It does control my oiliness to some extent, even though if it is for sometime. Exfoliates beautifully, with a little harshness initially but it mellows down within no time.

It didn’t break me out or cause any type of skin upheavals. I feel my skin looks radiant and healthy after using the Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub.

Even though it’s not my regular daily cleanser, I certainly recommend using it for about 2-3 days a week.
The quantity that comes in this small tub, shall last you for about a month since you do not need a lot of product.

My family of four with diverse skin types, use this product, and none of us have found a negative thing about it.

I am totally recommending this to you all, if nothing you HAVE to try the Lush Ocean Salt Facial Scrub from LUSH, I am sure you wouldn’t switch after this!!

I shall continue using this forever and ever and ever!!
