How did the first day of week go? Mine went by super cool!!  Feels nice when things go the way you want them too! :P Anyhow, today I am reviewing the Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation.

First apply Xperience Weightless Foundation with your fingers. You’ll instantly feel the silky weightlessness. Work your way outwards from your T-zone blending softly towards the edges. Finish by sweeping a foundation brush over your face to achieve that air-brushed look. For a more dewy finish, smooth the foundation in, use light ‘dappling’ movements using your fingertips. This creates a beautiful, soft-focus effect and really helps the foundation to blend into the skin to give a perfectly smooth finish.

My Thoughts On The Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation :
Summers are here, and my experiments with foundations have just begun! Although I have found my HG summer wear base in Benefit’s Hello Flawless which I have reviewed HERE. I have been experimenting with quite a few foundations from other brands as well.

It’s been a while I have been using this one and tested it in different ways and types to be able to review it. And with its “oil free” claim I had to try it without a double thought.

The texture of the Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation velvety and it has a thick consistency. Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation provides full coverage and has a semi dewy finish to it.

With the thick texture it has, it isn’t too tough to skip the concealer to erase or hide those hideous blemishes and pimple marks. The thick texture doesn’t disable it from blending into the skin, and it isn’t tough or tricky and it totally soaks into the skin.

I use my fingers and then a blending sponge to get it in, or my Inglot foundation brush which I reviewed HERE to apply it.
The shade availability is nice, but ladies with a dusky/dark skin tone may find it difficult to find their match.

Mine being Deep Sandstone 85 gives me a very pretty blend of pink as well as yellow undertones, “yellow” undertones for summer you see!

What’s to LOVE about the Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation :

• Price and quantity.
• Packaging. Handy to carry around.
• The texture is velvety and smooth.
• Blends like a dream into the skin. Doesn’t need an effort to get it in.
• As the name goes it feels immensely light on the skin. WEIGHTLESS.
• It has a thick consistency, and hence people looking for a full heavy coverage will love it.
• I usually go ahead and skip my primer, since it has pretty filling texture. 
• Concealer loses its need when you are having a foundation as prominent as this one.
• Gives a full coverage and also it can be sheered out as per need.
• Doesn’t clog on the pores
• Doesn’t get cakey and patchy
• Has no melt downs
• Clings pretty to the skin. Has SPF 10, that little added sun protection
• Works for sensitive as well as all skin types
• Didn’t cause break outs or irritations
• Helps control the oil
• Has a natural semi dewy finish
• It has a very soothing mild scent.

What’s to HATE about the Maxfactor Xperience Weightless Foundation :

This transfers onto tissues and blotting sheets. This is the only CON for the product but I have seen this problem minimizing when I have a setting spray over it! Also damsels with a uber oily skin shouldn’t skip primer beneath this.

Final Verdict :
One of the best drugstore foundations in my opinion. In many ways it has been termed as a dupe for Armani’s Face Fabric. This is a great foundation if you are having a budget and looking for a full coverage base!
