Nivea Beaute Volume Shine Ultra Glossy Lipstick in Toffee Review
Hello there!!
How are you doing today?? Week going good?? I hope it is!! I’m not a lipstick person. I use very few. But the few I use I love. One such lipstick is the Nivea Beaute Volume Shine Ultra Glossy Lipstick in Toffee.
Quite a mouthful isn’t it?? Hehe. I never really knew the full name of it till a few minutes ago.
For some reason I don’t see a lot of reviews on Nivea makeup products on the web. Maybe it is because they aren’t easily available elsewhere. In doha, you can find Nivea products at basically any supermarket. This was one of my first products from Nivea.
Claims:
30% more shine boosts optical volume of your lips maximum comfort and no stickiness, NIVEA MAKEUP introduces Volume Shine Ultra Glossy – the voluminous shine of your gloss, the comfort of your lipstick. The smooth texture with shine polymers melts on your lips and boosts shine and optical volume – without any stickiness. Caressing shea butter and jojoba oil drench your lips in moisture. For ultimate comfort. All captured in your favourite, shiny colours.
Packaging:
Nothing that great. Just your standard lipstick tube with a cap on it. Looks fragile though. Lucky I don’t have butterfingers.
My thoughts on Nivea Beaute Volume Shine Ultra Glossy Lipstick in Toffee:
I love the colour. It is a such a pretty brownish-pink and brightens up my face instantly!! It says volume but I don’t see any increase in the volume. This would suit fairer beauties more I think. I think the colour is neither neutral nor too bright. You know what I mean?? When I’m in the mood for neither I reach out for toffee and it has never disappointed. Also it is great to work it. One swipe imparts a lovely colour to your lips while two to three swipes gives a greater pigmentation. It does give a subtle shine that is perfect for day time wear. My lips to not feel dry but they don’t feel moisturized either. A lip balm is advised before you apply this. For a night time look I like to pair it with heavy eye makeup. Maybe a smoky eye or just cat eyes.
You can pair this with the Nymphette lipglass or just a clear gloss. I’ve noticed I can buy a little more stayi8ng power that way. I’ve never used this with lip liners. To be frank I’ve never used lip-liners ( makeup novice alert!) I do have one but ive never used it. That’s a story for another day.
Staying power without any base or primer is 2-3 hours in which if you talk,eat,drink,breathe it will NOT stay. I don’t mind reapplying this every 2 hours though.

Lovely aint it?? For some weird reason it always reminds me of the song Desert rose by Sting. Any other fan here??
Whats to LOVE about Nivea Beaute Volume Shine Ultra Glossy Lipstick in Toffee:
- Lovely colour
- Great pigmentation
- A very light fragrance. Disappears in a few minutes after you apply it.
- Gives a subtle shine which is perfect for office and day-time wear
- Available in various other shades
Whats NOT to love about Nivea Beaute Volume Shine Ultra Glossy Lipstick in Toffee :
- Packaging could be better.
- Staying power could be better. Way better.
- Availability could be an issue
- Fragrance could trouble those with sensitive noses.
Final verdict:
Some girls have that one lipstick. Several others have ‘those’ lipsticks. For me its this. I always always reach for this. This is a random picture I found on my laptop from when I got this lipstick first. Memories .
Yes I have a waayyy better camera but that one’s home. I’m just making do with my mobile camera right now.

I have the same lipstick in the same shade and I love it too… it looks a little more pinker on me..I was looking for a review of it only a few days back.. nothing!!!

Today when I was going to buy my favorite lipstick Nivea Beaute volume shine ultra glossy 04, when I experienced that Nivea had stopped selling Nivea’s lipstick in the swedish market. So does anyone know if I can buy these online in any other country? Many thanks !!!
