Hello my lovely ladies.
Hope you all are doing good. Hmmm Summer summer summer  it’s hurting me. God please save me from this hot ASAP. Main thing is I cant able to go for shopping :O. hehe. My hubby is not taking me for shopping. It’s all because of this horrible climate, humidity and so on. Well my summer story will keep on going. Let’s start with the highly raved product which is NYX HD studio photogenic primer.

Product claims:

Good for all skin types. Softens liners. Light diffusing effect is perfect coverage for studio photos or taking fun pictures with pals. High definition, photogenic primer. Perfect for liquid makeup, foundation or face powder. Silky, lightweight application helps erase the appearance of fine lines and pores for a flawless finish. You makeup will stay fresh until the party’s over!!! Face primers are used in order to make our foundation stay longer, goes on much smoother.

I think it just comes in one shade which is HDP 01.

Quantity, price and availability:
NYX HD studio photogenic primer comes with a net weight of 1.16 OZ (33g). I think it costs around AED 50. It’s easily available in all nyx counters across UAE. I got mine from mirdiff mall.

My thoughts on NYX HD studio photogenic primer:
I would recommend this primer to people with normal to oily skin since unlike most face primers, it doesn’t have smooth-silky feeling. If you have really dry skin, it would be too hard to blend. It’s a very opaque white primer. Takes long time to blend. Use a very tiny tiny tiny amount of the product; else it will leave a white cast on your face. It dries up very quickly. So you have to be very fast in working with this primer. I like the packaging very much. I like the fact that it comes in a pump bottle. It’s good for hygienic purpose. The pump actually gives more product than what I needed. So be careful on it. What I do is I will dot a tiny bit of the face primer, and then dab it on to my T-zone first, and then chin lastly cheeks. I will blend it using my fingers. This makes my foundation look more even. It looks matte and I don’t see any blemishes.

What I love about NYX HD studio photogenic primer:

• I like the effect when I take photographs.
• It makes foundation application smoother. Makes my skin looks more even.
• Easily available.
• Very affordable.
• Lightweight. Feels light on my skin.
• Mineral-enriched, talc free and paraben free. (Mentioned in the box).
• Slightly brightens up my face.
• Tiny amount goes a long way.
• Controls oil very well.

What I hate about NYX HD studio photogenic primer:

• It’s hard to blend.
• Apply very less amount of the primer, else this has a tendency to leave white cast on to your face.
• Dries quickly.
• It has some light powdery smell. Still it’s not really bad.

I don’t think I will purchase it again. I hope inglot comes with some good primer. So I will go for it. I will use this until its get over. If you have tried this primer just comment below what do you think. That’s it guys. See you all soon. Take care.
