Hope you had a great weekend. Everybody has been raving the Revlon Lip Butters and I’m pretty sure that many of you are already hooked on these. I’ve tried out numerous lip butters but haven’t I come across any as good as the Revlon Lip Butters. I’m totally in love them and they’ve become a staple in my makeup bag. So read on to know my take on the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter In Candy Apple.

Colorburst Lip Butter by Revlon is a buttery balm with beautiful shiny color to give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips 94% of women felt lips were softer, smoother, and instantly hydrated.

Directions for use:
Starting with clean, dry lips, apply your favorite shade of Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter onto your lips. They can be worn with or without Lip liner. Reapply as often as desired for softer, smoother and instantly hydrated lips!

Packaging:
The packaging of these is very similar to the Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks. They come in exquisite metallic lipstick tubes with classy outer cases. The outer cases have diagonal checkered designs and the color of the cases match the color of the lip butter itself. The top of this case is clear so you can see the true color through the cap.

My thoughts on Revlon’s Colorburst Lip Butter:
This is my favorite lip product at the moment. I am extremely impressed with the pigmentation of this product. They have fabulous color pay off for a lip butter and can also be worn as a lipstick. They glide on smoothly and are very moisturizing, so you wouldn’t need to wear any lip balm before you apply this on to your lips.

These lip butters are soft, creamy and very hydrating. They leave a healthy sheen on your lips which you probably wouldn’t get out of a tinted lip balm or a lipstick.

I’ve noticed that they don’t last as long as matte lipsticks and would require touching up every 2 or 3 hours. It is very easy to take off and does not settle in the fine lines of your lips.

I totally love the packaging of this product. Usually, when you think of a lip butter, you’d picture it as a typical pot and you would have to use your finger to apply but this comes in a twist up tube which keeps things neater. The price is a bit of a luxury for a lip butter, but I don’t think that would stop me from buying more shades from this range.

The shade I purchased is ‘Candy Apple’ which is a very sensational red color.

I think this is my best substitute for a red lipstick. And for those who like to wear red lipsticks but feel uncomfortable to sport a bold lip, this is the right shade for you. It’s a very wearable red and can really brighten up your face. I think this color is great for daytime and will look gorgeous on all skin tones.

Final Verdict:
On the whole, I think this product is just amazing. It’s a must have for all you ladies out there. It’s a great product for everyday use and a good blend of both a lipstick and lip butter.
