Practically just 2 more days of Ramadan!! It gets over even before we realize right? Anyways, Eid celebrations await!! Gone are the days when lipstains and lip tints were these mysterious products, which when asked to women with rosy lips they would shrug off saying I haven’t applied anything, it’s just natural. Today, almost all the brands have come out with “their” versions of lipstains, and liptints. Today I am reviewing Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint in Forever Walnut with you all.

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint looks like a marker pen. PERIOD. It has a felt tip on one end and a clear balm on the other.

My Thoughts On The Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint in Forever Walnut :
Now frankly speaking, I am not too much into lip stains, I mean I use them, quiet often for a formal look and more when I don’t feel like having a lip gloss or lipstick, which very very very seldom. More than on my lips I prefer them on my cheeks for no apparent reason.

Now the only thing I was excited about the Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint, actually 2 things were,
-firstly Rimmel launched it
- Next it looked like a felt tip marker pen
That’s about it.

I had enough pink and red and orange lipstains, hence I thought to go for something more darker and browner, and hence the shade Forever Walnut. This is a burnt orange shade. The kinds which shall look good on almost all skin tones, without giving you that aged look.

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Tint has a matte finish!! I mean there is no trace of gloss or shine with the product. It is just a matte shade.

As far as the application goes, it is pretty simple with the pen marker felt tip thing, but I always end up rubbing it onto my lips for some color to show up, I always have this weird thing in my mind, that for some reason it has dried up or ran out.

It is extremely dry on the lips and doesn’t really have any moisturizing and soothing properties. Even the balm doesnt help the product in this category. It infact looks patchy on my lips!!

As far as the color range goes!! It comes in 14 shades, out of which I have 2.

It has a decent staying power though, I mean it would be on your lips for about 2 hours max, and then it disappears.

As far as the transfer-ability of the product depends, it didn’t really stay long enough on my lips to check it.

Final Verdict :
I wouldn’t say a word!! I am trying to get into the other color I have, shall let you know if I succeed!! :P I am trying to work it out with a gloss.
