Hope you are all doing great. This week went by so fast and the weekend is here already.
Let’s talk about mascaras today. I believe that no eye look is complete without mascara. My makeup kit has a new addition – Rimmel’s Day 2 Night Mascara. Let me share my thoughts on this product with you.

Product Claim: This mascara creates two dramatically different lashes with just one brush. The secret of this product is its magic double cap! Multitasking, 2 in 1 Defined Length/ Intense Volume Mascara.

Top Cap: Exceptionally defined and ultra-lengthened lashes.

Bottom Cap: Thickens lashes with voluptuous, oversized volume without clumps.

Available shades: Black 001, Brown black 002, Extreme black 003

Price:
It’s very affordable and sells at AED 30 at all Rimmel kiosks. I picked mine from
Avenue – in Sharjah. There was a sale during that time – so I got the extreme black shade for AED 20.

Packaging:

Comes in a black and pink tube. I love the whole concept of the tube containing two caps with just one brush. It’s like you’re buying two mascaras at the same time. It’s very convenient to hold and use. The brush isn’t too thick – just the right size.

My thoughts on Rimmel’s Glam’Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara:
This mascara works wonders for my eyes. I have really sensitive eyes that usually start watering whenever I use mascaras or even eye liners for that matter. But when I used this mascara, I was quite amazed at the dramatic and curling effect it brought to my lashes and my eyes didn’t water at all.

As you can see in the pictures below, my lashes are not very long – and after using the product this has not only lengthened my lashes but also volumized them.

Once you apply, it dries very quickly. The lengthening of the lashes doesn’t show much on the eyes but when I use the volume bit of this mascara, it completely transforms the eye. You may experience a small bit of clumping, but if you swiftly move it over the lashes – it won’t reveal any clumps.

What I like most about this product is that it lasts long. I used this mascara when I went to the market the other day, and you all know how wicked the weather is – the mascara didn’t not wear away even though I was out for more than 6 hours. I am definitely going to carry this mascara with me when I travel as I won’t have to carry too many mascaras in my little kit. If you are on a budget, you would definitely love this mascara.

Final Verdict:
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a mascara for daily use. I personally love this product, as it doesn’t irritate my eyes and at the same time it makes my lashes look really thick. Do try this out and let me know what you think.
