Hope you all are having a pleasant Friday. Today I am reviewing the Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation for you all. I know I have been on a base makeup kick lately on EMBB, but then trust me, there are gazillion other things coming up for you, so stay tuned and stay hooked.

My Thoughts On The Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation:
Practically, this is my first foundation from the brand. There has been a review on the same product , but in a bottle packaging HERE. So I thought I shall be giving my 2 cents on the product too.

The packaging for Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation is very light weighed and handy to carry on. It comes in a medium sized plastic tube. I find it easily to carry around.

I am using the shade Classic Beige which is a very natural and the nearest perfect match to my skintone. It has more of the pink undertones than the yellow ones. I LOVE how natural the shade looks on my skin.

The texture of the product is creamy and gel like. I mean you can say it is liquid-y to a very large extent.  It is emollient and this is what proffers the skin with a natural finish.

The product being so emollient blends into the skin beautifully, I use my regular foundation brush and fingers to apply this product.  The product just soaks into the skin thus giving you a seamless and flawless finish. I love how the product just looks on the skin.

The finish of the product is semi matte. It gives this nice healthy dewiness to the face sans the greasiness and oiliness.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation has a very mild floral scent to it. A mild one. Totally harmless to the sensitive noses.

It is extremely light on the skin and also doesn’t clog up the pores, which is AMAZING for a drugstore brand foundation.

It is very hydrating which doesn’t mean that it proffers extra oil or moisture to the oily or combination skin types. The coverage of the product is medium to full. But I like to put it in the medium coverage category, I mean I cannot skip my concealer with it.  But trust me, it is just a little less than full coverage.

The staying power of Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation is very good. I mean it stays on comfortably for about 6-7 hours on my skin with a primer and a light loose powder dusting. And the best part it doesn’t transfer onto tissues or mobile screens. Now it claims to stay for 25 hours which is kind of a little over exaggeration, and who wears makeup for 25 hours, it stays fora full day of 8 hours though.

Even in the hot and humid climate it stays gripped to the skin which is again a very good characteristic of the product.

Final Verdict :
For me it is a very good drugstore foundation pick. It excels in every category for being a perfect base. I am totally recommending it you guys!! Go ahead and snatch it from the Rimmel counters ASAP.
