Eye Pencil : Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil In Pure White
Hello everybody! The festive season is here with Christmas just around the corner and new years also is not too far away so I’m sure you all must be having exciting plans already! I myself have been very busy these past couple of days so I haven’t been very active on the blog but now that’s over so I’m back again. Anyways, you know those days when you wake up looking dull and almost like a zombie? :P well that happened to me yesterday and so I had to take extra measures to make my eyes look bright and wide awake. I grabbed my Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in pure white and applied it to my waterline for that doe-eyed effect and that’s when I thought I should review it for you all.
Availability- I find Rimmel counters to be available quite easily throughout the UAE and this pencil is available at almost all the counters.
Colors available- jet black, sable brown, denim blue, green shimmer, purple passion, jungle green, stormy grey, pure white, royal blue. All in all there are 9 colors to choose from.
Price – I’m pretty sure I bought this for 17dhs about 6 months back from lifestyle, centrepoint.

This pencil gives dense colour application, which can be blended into the lid for a softly smudged look. A very easy to apply formulation.
My thoughts on the Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil:
Everyone on the youtube community kept talking about how white on the waterline makes eyes look bright and big so I thought why not give it a try. I always wear eyeliner on the waterline and I have all colors except the white and when I went to get one I couldn’t pick between the Rimmel eyeliner in 01pure white and the nyx jumbo pencil in milk but for some reason I went with the Rimmel soft kohl kajal eyeliner pencil.
As soon as I got home I was super eager try it and when I did, I felt like the white eyeliner on the waterline did an amazing job of making the eyes look big and awake. The texture of the eyeliner itself was super creamy and soft and the color was extremely pigmented. It is very easy to blend and can be used in multiple ways because of this. To apply it on the waterline I didn’t have to keep rubbing or tugging on my eye. It applies smoothly due to its texture. However, its texture is also a negative since that makes it quite hard to sharpen to a fine point which is a problem if you want to use it to make a thin line around the eyes. I normally apply it lightly on my waterline because if you go for a very opaque and white look it can be a bit too harsh, especially on medium-darker skinned people.
A great thing about this pencil is that the colors don’t crease at all. I have blended this pencil as a brow bone and tear duct highlight so many times and I love the way that it doesn’t start smudging or creasing like many cream products do. Even on rubbing vigorously, it just spread slightly and faded. This pencil can be is an amazing and multi-purpose product. It can be used as a brow bone, tear duct and even cheek bone or cupids bow highlight. Another good thing about this pencil is that even though it is not mentioned anywhere that it is waterproof, on splashing with water and gently rubbing it did not spread. It only lightly faded.
For a while after applying this pencil, like 1 hour maybe, the color stays vibrant and intense but in a short span of time the color fades and slowly in about 3 hours, its gone. This is the only real negative that I found with this pencil. I just wish it had a better lasting power because then I would find it an ideal pencil eyeliner.

Cons of the Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil
• Not long lasting AT ALL.
• A little difficult to sharpen to a fine point.
I would recommend this to anyone who is on the lookout for an intense, creamy and blend-able liner that’s inexpensive. But keep in mind that you’ll have to retouch pretty often.
