Hope you all are doing fantastic!! You all must be wondering where the hell have I disappeared!! Right?I just got back from 3 days of blindness :P With the temperatures rising in Dubai, my eyes tend to give me a tough time, with basic allergies and infections, and this time was no different. But now I feel a tad better, and I am allowed to open my eyes to a computer screen, not much though, but I can. So I was more than elated to get back to blogging and get this review put out for you! Today I am reviewing one of my skin care essentials the Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask. I have got it featured HERE before.

Product Claims:

Herbline Face Packs use a natural clay (Gopichand) – a magnesium iron and aluminium yellow earth- similar to Bentonite. It is a highly effective absorbent. (Ref.: Indian Materia Medica, Vol.2, Dr. K.M. Nadrakarni, pp 7). The exquisite balance of ingredients in our Face Packs makes them perform immediately and gives results which are long lasting. They can be used on the face & body with equal efficacy

Use:
1.As a blemish removing pack
2. Wet face & apply the Pack and gently massage till a thick layer is formed
3. Let dry without flexing the face too much 4. Wash off after about 10 minutes

Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Oil Vit. E provider
Papaya extract

Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask comes in a wide plastic jar with a screw up lid.

My Thoughts On The Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask :
Basically, face masks give me this “satisfaction” that my skin is looked after and cared for. It makes me feel that I have done that extra bit to look after my skin. Since I have a combination skin type I prefer mud packs or sheet masks, which generally help the oil on my face to diminish. Hence the NIVEA sheet masks work just perfect for my skin type and so does any product which basically dries up on the face.
Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask is kind of a clay pack, it has this fruity/floral fragrance to it.

What’s to LOVE about the Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask :

• The packaging. Clay packs and tubs go well together! I use a spatula to get the product out! Avoids wastage of the product. You get a good quantity of product for the price you pay.
• It has a nice fruity and floral scent to it. Usually clay packs, do not have a floral or fruity scent
• The texture isn’t too thick and does not need further mixing with any medium or rose water. Its ready for application.
• Doesn’t take ages to dry up. This is very very important for restless people like me. :P
• Having a combination skin type, my first concern is getting rid of the oil on my T zone, and this pack helps me do it! Even if it is for a couple of days, it does help in keeping greasiness and oiliness at bay.
• Softness my skin.
• Tightens up the pores.
• Brightens the skin.
• Evens out the texture and tone of the skin
• Didn’t cause me break outs, come mud packs have done this to me before, that they made my skin so dry and dehydrated, that it cause me break outs. It helps in fading away acne/pimple marks and works on blemishes too, although the effect visible slowly but it is steady. :)
• Suits all skin types.
• Ingredients.  There’s nothing which would harm your skin and has everything your skin would need to stay healthy.

What’s to HATE about the Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask :

• Availability. I wish it was more widely available. 

Final Verdict :
Herbline Essentials Papaya Face Mask is a decent mask. It works pretty well for improving the skin. I also find it great for oily and combination skin types. If you are looking for a clay pack, this could be quiet an effective one. Even if the price is a tad costlier, I think it’s worth a splurge since it works. It’s a great face pack for summers though!!
