St Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturiser Review
Well I guess I have my husband to thank for this product, because he is the one who picked this up… It must be the words ‘intensive healing’ that attracted him to this product. Anyway, he doesn’t really care about using moisturiser now, but I found I like this, so now this is MY body lotion. :P Anyway let me tell you all about this cool product which has surprised me, the St Ives Intensive Healing Advanced Body Moisturiser.

Price and availability:
Available at supermarkets and drugstores. I bought this sooo long ago, so after a quick research on the web, it is priced at around AED 20 for 532ml
This product is packaged in a plain white plastic bottle(which itself contains 20% post consumer recycled material). It has a no-nonsense look about it, nothing fancy at all. The pump delivers a soft ribbon of product which is enough for one arm. The bottle is huge – 18 fl oz.. so it’s great for your bathroom dresser, but not for travelling light.
I have to tell you all, my all time favourite scrub is the St. Ives Apricot scrub, it’s the most fabulous scrub I ever found and I have been using it for the past 10 years! So I’m happy to report that this St. Ives product also delivers- at least for me! :) The product in itself is a light formula that your skin seems to drink up. It does not feel greasy afterward and I’ve never felt my skin feel soooo smooth and silky! It ends up making your skin feel like it was always like that, I mean it does not feel like you used any moisturiser on it at all. I don’t know how it would fare on extremely dry skin though, because I have just somewhat dry skin, and this is perfect for me. I would think that dry, cracked skin need something more thick and intensive. The St. Ives intensive healing advanced body moisturiser is non-irritating, fragrance free and hypoallergenic too. The lotion does not leave any scent on my skin, so I even like to use my Bath & Body works moisturiser on top, for the scent bit of it. Plus, it’s all natural ingredients, so yay! :) It works great as an everyday after shower moisturiser.
• Leaves your skin soft and silky to touch.
• 100 % natural moisturisers
• Contains no parabens and phthalates.
• Hypoallergenic, non –irritating, dermatologist tested, fragrance free.
• Not tested on animals
• Does not contain animal ingredients.
• Great price!
• No fragrance
• Not sure if it is intensive enough for dry, cracked skin (but it is perfect for somewhat dry skin).
• Packaging is boring.
• (really can’t think of anything else :P)
I love the way my skin feels, so this will be another staple in my bathroom :) If you are looking for a no-nonsense everyday product, this is perfect. And it’s great for the whole family.
