How To : Stack Bracelets
Hello Ladies,
Hope you all are doing beautiful!! I am relatively relaxed and feel considerably light. Ramadan does it to you I guess also some time disconnected from the world, does it!! Today let’s talk about one of the hottest trends of the season, stacked bracelets. Now even if this looks simple and nice, I do not think stacking is an easy task, I mean it will only look nice if it is done in the right way, or else it’s just like you have pulled up some random pieces you own which kind of look weird together. So here are some tips which I usually follow when stacking bracelets, and hopefully and answer to all those “HOW TO STACK BRACELETS” queries.
Trial and error is the key. Try before you settle for a stack. Mix and match!! Blend the bracelets as per your mood, or the color palette of your attire.
Next, no compulsions with the texture, finishes and prices of course. There is always a BAR in our mind, that we cannot mix our gold bracelets with the non-gold ones. So be free to mix and blend. Trust me it works!! Try!!
You can always wear similar metal with varied enamels, or varied metals with similar enamels.
Shapes!! You can wear a triangle bangle with a rectangle one or a flat one, but try to avoid shapes with bracelets, I mean do not pull down a triangle bracelet with delicate bracelets, it will kind of poke out from the group.
Amidst your stack make sure you include atleast 1 charity bracelet. Something which makes sense and has a meaning to it.
Colors!! If you are stacking bracelets, you have all the freedom in the world to play around with colors. Tone to tone stacking or multicolored stacking, all works!! Also try to contrast your bracelets.
If you feel that the stack looks overly shiny and blingy, neutralize it, add some textured pieces, some thread bracelets, or leather ones.
Size no BAR!! Do not be reluctant to mix and match sizes. But do not go overboard, for instance a humungous bracelet may eat up your tiny ones. Ensure they vary but also make sure they do not look disproportionate.
Do not forget to add something which will hold your stack, like a base bracelet. Go in for broader and stronger one for this.
Trust me, with stacking, BALANCING and NEUTRALIZATION is the key!! You have to get this right to get the look right or else it would just be a HOT MESS on your wrist.
