Hey there everyone!

I hope your days are sunny like the summers this year. Sorry for being completely out of the loop for a while now but now I am back with reviews on few of the most famous and talked about makeup products. Starting off with my first review this month is an eye shadow palette by Urban Decay. They first came out with the Naked Palette a few years ago which you can read a review on EMBB. A year ago they launched the Naked 2 Palette which was just as hyped and talked about like the first one. I wasn’t skeptical about this palette at all since I own the original Naked palette and loved the colors and pigmentation. Although the pictures I saw on the internet of the eye shadows they looked frosty and me being olive skin toned I thought the colors won’t compliment me as well as the first palette did. Boy was I wrong!

Product Claim:
The most anticipated sequel of the decade!
It truly must be difficult for Urban Decay to step up their game from the original Naked palette. This time they concentrated on more taupy, greige neutral eye shadows while introducing five brand new eye shadows in the palette. This 12 eye shadow palette is another fine piece for achieving a neutral eye without being monotonous and boring. The Naked 2 palette is up for grabs in all Emirati Sephora’s for around Dhms 290.

Appearance and Packaging:

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette comes in a sturdy yet stylish casing different from the 1st palette. The case is a lot harder which is a plus for travelling keeping your eye shadows and mirror safe from cracking. It comes with a cruelty free Shadow and crease brush only available in the palette and travelling lip gloss with such a gorgeous and luxurious packaging naked Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Naked.

It may be named Naked but it’s not a nude lip gloss but more of a pinkish coral color that looks gorgeous on. Lipgloss has a good taste to it with a minty tingle that lingers on your lips after applied. Naked 2 palette has 12 eye shadows from taupy grey colors to golden, bronzy brown eye shadows finishing off with a jet black eye shadow that can be used as an eye liner or under water line.

Eye Shadows and Swatches:
12 beautiful and cool toned neutrals can be found in this well-made palette. They are extremely pigmented with fine metallic shimmer to all eye shadows except for Tease and Blackout. Only one of the eye shadow in this palette is repeated from the original Naked palette called Half Baked that is a golden eye shadow with lots of shimmer. The combination of taupes, greys and purple in the palette can be ideal from brown/hazel eyes while other people can mix and match to pop their eye color. This palette was reviewed to be specifically for women with cool skin tone since the colors are frostier with a metallic shine to them. But I have a warm skin tone and they look just as good on me as a person with a very pale complexion. The names of these eye shadows are also pretty unique and interesting like YDK, Bootycall, Snakebite and Foxy to name a few.

Final Thought:
It is a must have palette! Seriously if you can afford these Urban Decay Naked palettes you are good to go. They are ideal for travelling while the eye shadows can give you a working day time to a party night time look. I have been using only the Urban Decay Naked palettes ever since I bought them which probably are around 6-8 months for the original Naked palette and pretty much a month for Naked 2 palette. The only downfall I think is its price but makeup products like an eye shadow palette lasts you years and years so why not splurge and treat yourself with one of the finest palette in all makeup brands.
