Ways To Keep The Skin Hydrated
Hello Lovelies!!
EMBB seems to be on an overdose? Yeah it is!! I am totally in that “GET BLOGGING” mode! Anyhow with the summers getting uglier with each passing day, my skin seems to be craving more and more attention. I have a combination skin type and now you must be having an idea how tough it gets to combat the summer for me. I have those kind of skins which gets tanned in seconds and takes a while to get back to the normal skin tone. Anyhow, I should reduce the cribbing and get to the point. The only way to keep your skin happy and glowing during summers is to keep it hydrated. So here are some ways to keep the skin hydrated during summers.
Eat water rich food. As soon as I type this all that comes to my mind is WATERMELON!! Fruits and vitamins are naturally the highest water containing food. So include them as and when you can in your diet. This ownt only help your metabolism, but it will also show improvement in your skin type.
Drink water!! Water is the ultimate source for hydration. Now that Ramadan is here, this one is very tough to do, but then after Iftar you can makeup for the quantity of water you haven’t had during the day. This reduces signs of aging and even keeps oil and acne at bay.
Hydration masks. I have recently reviewed Loccitane Hydration Mask HERE, this will help you maintain hydration in your skin making it healthy and plump. Avoid oil based masks.
Other than this, exfoliate your skin. Not too often but yes you should exfoliate atleast twice a week.
Moisturize regularly. Use a separate moisturizer for day and night. Nothing too heavy for the day, but yes a heavy moisturizer for the night. Try water based moisturizers especially for summers.
Avoid a lot of makeup. Avoid foundation!! I go for a very sheer layer of foundation for summers, but I am looking at banishing it completely during the daytimes.
Also try mineral makeup. I am not a mineral makeup person. But then once in a while I do opt for mineral makeup.
Now these are some things which can keep your skin hydrated this summers!! What do you do? Any suggestions?
